The definitive course on seasonal menu planning, store cupboard stocking and management, Freezer Fillers, grocery planning, shopping and reducing waste. This is a demonstration cookery class which covers enough seasonal recipes for a month of meals. There is a strong emphasis on healthy, vibrant ingredients, plenty of fruit and vegetables, complex carbohydrates and reducing saturated saturated fat, sugar and salt. All the recipes are nutritionally analysed to give you the the healthiest and tastiest version. We look at portion sizes, proper planning and also reducing food waste. The menus are very well structured with the optimal proportion of meat, seafood and vegetarian recipes using seasonal ingredients. For a treat, we have included a popular weekly dessert. One or two global inspired ingredients give midweek meals the Ish Factor keeping them interesting without wasting money on a whole long list of foods.
Each student will receive a comprehensive recipe folder with additional notes on Pantry Pals, Freezer Treasures and Fresh Friends.

The Green Living Wholefood Weekend is an intensive nutrition based cookery course that uses wholefoods to create delicious, healthy recipes with the Ish Factor. Popular with nutritionists and anyone with an interest in healthy cooking. Learn how to use beans, lentils, chickpeas and vibrant fruits and veggies creatively. Tasty wholegrain recipes using quinoa, barley, kasha, spelt and other powerhouse foods. Liberal use of superfoods like seaweeds, chia, fresh herbs, aromatic spices and natural sweeteners. Raw foods and sprouted seeds and nuts also feature. To cover the most amount of content, this course is a demonstration cookery class. A wide variety of recipes are covered with tasters of all the dishes. Enjoy globally inspired whole food recipes are vegetarian, vegan and mostly dairy and gluten free. But you don’t need to be a vegetarian to enjoy this highly informative and motivating course. You’ll come away with plenty of information, family friendly recipes and culinary skills. Each student will receive a comprehensive folder with all the recipes and additional notes.

This one day workshop covers the ancient art of pickling, fermenting and preserving foods. These preserves are a wonderful foodie gift, are very satisfying to make and also have numerous health benefits. Learn traditional fermented recipes like sauerkraut and kefir so that you can enjoy these super foods at home. Pickled fennel with star anise, kimchi, Sriracha pickles, quince jelly and spicy chutneys are just some of the many recipes covered. The class includes a full recipe folder, lunch and some preserves to bring home.
